good dogs, bad owners Mood: irritated Topic: lazy thoughts
there's no such thing as 'BAD' dogs...there's only BAD owners! why are the innocent ones that are being punished? any domestic pets can be dangerous, due to irresponsible ownership, or improper training. domestic pets are like kids: they are always over-excited, playful, and sometimes, very noisy. all they want is to have fun. they don't have much social etiquette, because kids' & animals' I.Q/ E.Q aren't as developed yet. don't measure domestic pets with your yardstick. pets are family. please don't assume that dogs are just animals, tho' i know some people may not comprehend it. if our family pet is lost, we grieve like our child is lost too. it's the same pain. not ALL strays attack people or other animals. i've seen more strays being victims of physical abuse. the cats were being splashed with boiling water by adults; kids using bamboo poles to whack bigger dogs (and their parents were laughing approvingly); dogs & cats/ kittens being kicked in the stomach by human beings; giving pigeons/ black birds with poison feeds... AND THESE PEOPLE GOT AWAY WITH IT. IS IT FAIR? the SPCA has put in alot of effort for so many years to educate the public. i hope we will not stay ignorant any longer. its the deed, not the breed! most of the dogs that were euthanized hasn't done any wrongs.

insurance Mood: cool Topic: lazy thoughts
it's actually nothing new about pet insurance. but mummy says that with the increasing veterinarian costs & medical costs in singapore, she recently bought medical policies for everybody in the family...*scratch head* so, mummy just simply loves me or she thinks i'm her liability? *frowning in thoughts* hmmmmm.... anyway, with immediately effect of my veterinarian pet insurance, i figure i'll seeing dr. soh VERY often *huff* mummy has already been booking appointments for my scaling, annual check-up, blood/ urine tests , claiming my heartworm medication, blah blah blah.... my,oh,my....
sam, you are fondly remembered.... Mood: sad Topic: lazy thoughts
on nov. 22, 2005, sam, the thrice undefeated winner of the world's 'ugliest dog' , was euthanized as his heart is failing. he was 14. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/11/22/national/main1070147.shtml?CMP=OTC-RSSFeed&source=RSS&attr=U.S._1070147 as far as i'm concerned, he's not ugly. he is so lucky to have a owner who loves him, despite his failing health. bye, sam!
kill 2 birds with 1 stone! Mood: sharp Topic: lazy thoughts
ouch! mummy's words really hurts... when i asked for some treats, mummy blamed the H5N1 avian flu for the lack of stocks in the pet stores; as if it's not disappointing enough, she further elaborate about my weight issues! *huff*
